God's Love for YOU

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this; while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Much More Than Words-Love is a topic much discussed but usually misunderstood.

1. It always starts with God. Good things come down from Him. We never send great things up.

2. The greatest act of love is giving -Christ

3. God so loved the world he gave

4. God loved us when we did not love Him

5. We were dead and He still loved us.

Spiritual Benefits in Christ

1. He gives us eternal life with him.

2. Eternal life is a wonderful privilege, it was bought with blood, the blood of Christ

An inheritance to Claim

1. We are to be given the riches of his glory

2. We are very special to God

3. We are his children.

4. A parent helps his children and gives good things and encouragement

Conclusion: God knows we are battling against the world and ourselves. He will help us to over come as He has prepared a wonderful eternal life for us. He loved us so much He gave His son for us. This should be a source of great encouragement as we try to overcome our own temptations and weaknesses.
