Love in Your Life

Galatians 5:22-23 "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."

Introduction: When good things happen to people we all watch to see how they will respond. If they inherit or win large sums of money we watch to see if they will give some back. It's expected to respond in certain ways to good and bad things in life.

Responding to God's Love

1. Christ love is a responding type of love

2. Loving others isn't so noble as it is expected--we received love from God therefore we are to respond in like to each other.

3. Jesus said, as he had loved us so we are to love one another

Loving One Another

1. We are commanded to love one another--there is to be no doubt

2. We Honor each other-through service and submission

3. We are to be patient with one another-a tough one to develop! We are to bear each others faults

4. Encourage each other-be aware of limiting your contacts with Christians--we need to fellowship

Teach One Another

1. We may not know a lot of scripture, but we know basic truths

2. We teach others by:

   1. Loving each other

   2. Honoring each other

   3. Encouraging each other
